This Return and Refund Policy governs the procedure for returns, refunds, and cancellations for products purchased from DENT REST TOOTH PASTE PRIVATE LIMITED (referred to herein as “Dentrest,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”). This policy is subject to the provisions outlined in our Terms and Conditions of Service and Sale.
1. Eligibility for Returns
Due to the classification of toothpaste as a personal care and hygiene product, strict return criteria apply:
1.1 Standard Return Eligibility: We accept returns only if the product meets all the following conditions:
The toothpaste product is unopened and unused.
The product is in its original, sealed, and undamaged packaging.
The return request is initiated within seven (7) calendar days of the product delivery date.
1.2 Hygiene Restriction (No Returns on Used/Opened Products): For reasons of health protection and hygiene, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for any toothpaste product that has been opened or used, or where the original seal or packaging has been compromised or broken.
1.3 Damaged or Defective Products (Exception): If You receive a product that is damaged in transit or exhibits a confirmed manufacturing defect, You must notify Us within forty-eight (48) hours of the delivery time. Such notification must include:
Your Order Number.
Clear photographic evidence of the damage or defect.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Cancellation Before Dispatch: You may cancel an order free of charge at any time before it has been shipped from our warehouse. To cancel, please contact Us immediately via email.
2.2 Cancellation After Dispatch: If a cancellation request is received after the order has been dispatched, You must treat the order as a return (subject to the eligibility criteria in Section 1) once the package is delivered.
2.3 Cancellation Fees (If Applicable): We reserve the right to charge a small cancellation fee or deduct the costs associated with shipping and handling if the order is canceled after significant processing has occurred, depending on the stage of the order.
3. Return Procedure
3.1 Requesting a Return: To initiate a return or report a damaged/defective product, You must email Us with the following information:

Your Order Number.
The Product Name being returned.
The detailed Reason for the Return (e.g., “Unopened, not needed,” “Manufacturing Defect”).
3.2 Return Authorization (RMA): If your return request is provisionally approved, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number (or similar authorization code) and provide detailed instructions on how and where to send the package. Do not send any return items without receiving prior authorization from Dentrest.
3.3 Return Shipping:
Customer Responsibility: You are generally responsible for the costs associated with returning the product.
Company Error Exception: If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., confirmed defect, damage, or wrong item shipped), we may, at our discretion, arrange for a return pickup or reimburse Your documented return shipping costs.
3.4 Proof of Return: You must use a trackable shipping method for all returns. We cannot issue a refund for returned products that are lost or not received by our warehouse, and proof of return delivery will be required.
4. Inspection and Refund Processing
4.1 Inspection: Once the returned item is received by Dentrest, it will be inspected to verify that it fully meets the return criteria (i.e., sealed, unused, and in original condition) as outlined in Section 1.
4.2 Refund Approval: If the return is approved following inspection, we will process the refund.
4.3 Refund Method and Timeline:
The refund will be processed back to the original payment method used for the purchase.
The refund typically takes 7 -14 business days to be processed and credited back to Your account, depending on Your bank or payment processor.
4.4 Non-Refundable Charges: The original shipping charges paid on Your order are non-refundable, except in cases where the return is due to an error on the part of Dentrest (i.e., confirmed damaged, defective, or incorrect product shipment).
4.5 Rejection of Return: If the returned product fails inspection (e.g., found to be used, seal broken, or damaged by the customer), we reserve the right to reject the return. In such cases, Dentrest may deduct a restocking fee or ship the item back to the customer at the customer’s expense.
